Nestled in the charming historic village of Old Wethersfield, the Academy offers year-round classes with the most qualified instructors from around the country. The Academy also offers cultural events for its members and the community. If you love art, please consider an internship with the Academy, conveniently located at 431 Hartford Avenue, Old Wethersfield, CT. Meet people, learn new skills, and have fun in a community of artists. We are seeking one qualified applicant.

Responsibilities:
Provide general administration support
Assist in planning and executing gallery exhibitions, art education programs, workshops, and special events
Duties may include data entry, word processing, filing, photocopying and preparation of mailings

Qualifications:
Strong interest in the arts and working with artists
Great organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Ability to prioritize tasks and work accurately
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work well with the public
Computer proficiency in programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel

Status:
Part-time - 10-20 hours/week (hours are flexible) This is an unpaid position.
